BFSG and GDPR website check: technically checked and implemented.
Since June 2025, accessibility requirements have applied to many online shops and digital services for consumers, and data protection has been mandatory for years. We check your website against the BFSG and GDPR and implement the requirements cleanly at a technical level.
What we check and implement
Technical implementation, not just a report.
- Accessibility: contrast, keyboard operation, forms, image descriptions
- Cookie banner with genuine consent
- Forms: mandatory fields, consent, secure transmission
- Technically align the privacy policy, with a note that its content must be reviewed
- Legal notice and mandatory information in the footer
- Audit report with a list of defects
| Audit: accessibility (BFSG) and data protection (GDPR) Report with a list of defects and effort per item | €300–800 |
| Implementing accessibility Depending on scope: contrast, keyboard, forms, image descriptions | €500–2,000 |
| Cookie consent and settings Data sent to analytics services only after consent | €150–400 |
Note: we provide the technical review and implementation. It does not replace a legal assessment of your obligations.

Frequently asked questions
What is the BFSG?
The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) implements an EU directive and has applied since 28 June 2025 to certain products and services, including online shops. Micro-enterprises with fewer than 10 employees and no more than €2 million annual turnover are usually exempt for services. We check together whether your offer is affected. Our review does not replace a legal assessment.
What does a review cost?
A BFSG and GDPR review of a website usually costs €300 to €800. Implementing changes is billed separately, by effort or at a fixed price.
Does this make the cookie banner legally sound?
On the technical side, yes; we cannot provide the legal assessment. We set up consent so that data is only sent to services such as Google Analytics after approval. You need to have the content of the privacy policy checked; we deliver the technical implementation.
Does the BFSG also apply to purely B2B websites?
The BFSG covers products and services for consumers. A website aimed solely at businesses is usually not covered; whether that applies to you is a matter for legal assessment, which we do not provide.
