Purchase of used company IT and off-lease devices.
Are you replacing notebooks, PCs or servers, is a lease ending or a site being cleared? We buy the whole lot from 100 devices at a fixed price, collect it and erase all drives with a certificate. The devices are refurbished and reused instead of scrapped.
Typical reasons to sell
We work with companies, public authorities, schools, system integrators and IT service providers who dispose of many devices at once.
- Off-lease devices: devices at the end of the lease term, after buyout by the lessee
- Hardware refresh: replacing all workstation hardware, for example when moving to Windows 11
- Office closures and relocations: clearing sites, branches and warehouse stock
- Data centre: decommissioning of servers, storage and hard drives
- System integrators: returns from customer projects that are to be realised in bulk
- Insolvency and realisation: purchase of IT stock on behalf of administrators

What happens to your devices
We buy in order to reuse. Working devices are cleaned, tested, fitted with new batteries, SSDs or keyboards where needed, and resold as tested used devices. This extends service life and saves the resources needed to make new devices.
Defective devices are dismantled. Mainboards, displays, batteries and memory go into repairs as spare parts, the rest goes to proper recycling under ElektroG.
Erasure with proof
Checkpoint-E is backed by decades of experience in data recovery. We know what can still be recovered from old hard drives, and we erase accordingly thoroughly.
Drives that must not be reused under your policy are destroyed to DIN 66399 through hard drive destruction at HDDLab.
- Logging of every drive with manufacturer, model and serial number
- HDDs: complete overwriting followed by verification
- SSDs and NVMe: manufacturer sanitize or secure erase commands
- Defective or non-erasable drives: physical destruction
- Erasure record as PDF and CSV for your data protection documentation
Questions about buying
From what quantity do you buy?
We buy lots of 100 devices or more. The lot can be mixed, for example notebooks, PCs and monitors from a hardware swap. We do not accept single devices or small quantities.
Do you also buy off-lease devices?
Yes. Many companies buy out devices from the lessor at the end of the term and then sell them. We give you a fixed price in advance so that you can calculate the buy-out.
What happens to the data on the devices?
Every drive is recorded with manufacturer, model and serial number and completely erased. Drives that cannot be erased or are defective are physically destroyed. You receive an erasure record.
Do you also buy faulty devices?
Defective devices can be part of a batch. They are assessed as spare-parts donors or for recycling. State the condition in the inventory list.
What happens to the devices after purchase?
Working devices are tested, cleaned, refurbished and then resold. Defective devices are dismantled: spare parts go into repairs, the rest to certified recycling.
How is payment made?
By bank transfer after collection and inspection of the lot as per the quote. You receive a credit note or invoice with all items.
