CHECKPOINT-E
AI integration · local · no cloud

Local AI for companies: AI that stays in-house.

We install language models on your own hardware and connect them to your workflows: searching documents, pre-sorting emails, reading receipts, minuting meetings. Your data does not leave the company, and there are no per-request costs.

Where local AI saves time in everyday work

DOCUMENTS

Search knowledge

Ask contracts, manuals, quotes or tickets questions in plain language. The answer cites its source (Retrieval Augmented Generation, RAG).

EMAIL

Pre-sort the inbox

Recognise and assign enquiries and prepare draft replies. A person checks and sends.

RECEIPTS

Read invoices

Capture invoices, delivery notes and forms and hand them over in structured form to accounting or ERP.

LANGUAGE

Minute meetings

Convert recordings to text locally, summarise them and derive tasks.

ASSISTANT

Internal assistant

A chat for employees that knows company knowledge and shows only what each user is allowed to see.

OFFICE & ADMINISTRATION

AI for your documents

Search quotes, contracts and manuals without the cloud.

WEB APPS

AI web applications

Portals and internal tools with built-in AI, or AI integrated into your existing software.

Describe the process that currently takes the most manual work. We will tell you whether AI is worthwhile for it.

Why local

The advantages of your own AI hardware

Guide: What hardware does local AI need?

PrivacyCustomer and business data stay on your server. No transfer to AI providers outside the EU.
Predictable costsHardware and setup once, then no fees per user or request.
IndependenceOpen models that you keep. No vendor can change prices or terms.
Works offline tooOperation does not depend on an internet connection.
Technology

What we work with

We rely on established open-source tools so that your system is not tied to a single vendor.

  • Open language models such as Qwen, Gemma, gpt-oss or Mistral, matched to task and hardware
  • Operation via Ollama, llama.cpp or vLLM, interface for example with Open WebUI
  • Document search with vector database and source citation
  • Local speech recognition based on Whisper
  • Connection to email, file server, document management and ERP via interfaces
  • Permissions and login via your existing user directory

How to get your own AI

  1. Initial consultationWhich tasks, which data, which requirements.
  2. AnalysisWhere does AI measurably save time? Estimate effort and hardware requirements.
  3. PilotOne process is implemented and tested with real data.
  4. Hardware and installationSet up the server, connect the model, assign access rights.
  5. OperationUpdates, new models and extensions as needed.
Questions

Frequently asked questions about local AI

Do we need our own graphics card or a server?

For most applications, yes. Language models run fastest on graphics processors. The equipment needed depends on model size and number of users. Details in the guide to AI hardware.

Is this GDPR-compliant?

With local operation, the data does not leave your network and there is no data transfer to external AI providers. Other obligations, such as access rights and documentation, still apply.

How good are open-source models?

Current open models handle German well and are sufficient in many cases for summarising, searching, classifying and drafting. For each task, we test in the pilot whether the quality is good enough.

What does it cost?

That depends on hardware and effort. After an initial conversation and a short analysis you will receive a concrete quote.
