Server renewal: replacing the old server cleanly.
When the server falls out of support, gets loud or no longer receives updates, it is time. We plan the replacement, migrate data and services and take the old device away.
Service
What we do
From inventory to handover.
- Stocktake: services, data, dependencies
- Hardware selection: new or tested enterprise servers from stock
- Virtualising several legacy systems on one host
- Migration of file server, databases and industry software
- Setting up backup and monitoring
- Purchase of the old system; drives that must not be reused go to hard drive destruction at HDDLab

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is your own server still worthwhile?
For file storage, industry-specific software, local AI or when data should stay in-house: often yes. We compare honestly with a cloud solution.
How long does the changeover take?
We plan the migration so that operations keep running. The actual switchover usually takes place outside working hours.
What happens to the old server?
We buy it if it is still usable, or dispose of it with an erasure certificate.
